Raiders: Revisiting the 2019 NFL Draft class and where they stand
Isaiah Johnson
The second of three 4th round picks, cornerback Isaiah Johnson battled injury from the very beginning.
Before the 2019 season even began, Johnson was replaced on IR. He would eventually return, appearing in five games, where he broke up one pass, half of the two targets his way.
In 2020, Johnson was able to play in 14 games before eventually being placed on IR for the second time in two years. His play was up and down but did have the game of his career in a Week 9 win against the Chargers, including a breakup that sealed the game.
Raiders would cut ties with the corner before the 2021 season began, and he has since bounced around between Arizona, Pittsburgh, and Dallas’s practice squads. He is currently with the Steelers as the 2022 offseason begins, as he signed a futures contract with them back in January.
