Raiders free agency: 3 available targets of the utmost importance

Allen Robinson, WR

Let us be clear, the No. 1 team on the Raiders wish list in terms of the position group has to be Davante Adams, a former collegiate teammate of Derek Carr. However, the Green Bay Packers have already placed the franchise tag, and while he has said he will not play under the tag, the Silver and Black would have to trade for him to bring him to the desert.

Not only would the Raiders have to give away assets to sign Adams, but he is looking for over $25 million a year, something you just do not pay wide receivers. A cheaper option could be Allen Robinson, a star wide receiver who would come in and be the WR1 on the outside that this Raiders team has been missing.

Robinson is likely the No. 1 wideout on a bunch of team’s wish lists for this free agency period, but remember, Nevada has no state tax, so that could swing the advantage the Raiders way. Ziegler and company have to make a splash, and if they want to be competitive in an explosive AFC West next season, they need more weapons.
