Raiders free agency: 3 available targets of the utmost importance

Stephon Gilmore, CB

It is no big secret that the Raiders have work to do in the secondary, especially with Russell Wilson joining the Denver Broncos via trade this offseason. The Raiders will now take on Justin Herbert, Wilson, and Patrick Mahomes six times combined per season, so getting better at both cornerback and safety are paramount this offseason.

One name that the Raiders were rumored to be in on was JC Jackson, who ended up signing in-division with the Los Angeles Chargers. If the new regime wants to use their New England connections, they could be in on Stephon Gilmore, a former Super Bowl champion and NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

These three would be an excellent start for the new regime, as they fill in some of the biggest voids on this roster. If they can get this haul, they will be in great shape heading into free agency, but even with these three, there is still plenty of work left to do.
