3 realistic free agency moves for the Las Vegas Raiders that make sense.

Day 1 of the free agency signing period kicked off, and unlike the previous two days of legal tampering, the Las Vegas Raiders were loud and in charge. Whether it was filling in holes such as defensive tackle, cornerback, and third-down-back, or simply strengthening an already strong unit like the edge rushing tandem, new general manager Dave Ziegler was hard at work.

There’s still work to be done, though.

The Silver and Black have hefty needs that must be addressed, such as the receiver-corps, linebacker depth, and right guard/tackle. Not to worry, though; there are still quite a few quality free agents left, and some of them are names that fly under the radar.

The first-year Las Vegas Raiders’ general manager and head coach duo have a big opportunity to build on the impressive day they pieced together just yesterday. Now that they’ve thrown some dollars around in free agency, how can they continue to hit homeruns, but this time on a budget?

There are still quite a few cheap(er) options the Raiders can roll with when it comes to making additions that largely help the team. We’re going to focus on three of them.
