Big shocker! Football media pans Raiders Davante Adams trade

The Raiders lost this trade? A bad idea to acquire Davante Adams, really?

You’ll usually see a double-standard when it comes to Raiders’ coverage from a more national standpoint. Anyone who understands football knows that the Raiders won this trade and by a mile.

Nevertheless, Tweets started flooding social media yesterday as outlets across the country railed on Las Vegas.

The Raiders were projected to take a wide receiver with the 22nd overall selection. That was especially true once Adams was tagged, and you saw other possibilities, such as Chris Godwin, getting new deals.

The thing is, while the top-tier prospects this year are extremely talented, they are not proven commodities the way Adams is. The Raiders essentially gave up an unproven rookie wide receiver for arguably the best one in the NFL.
