Could the Raiders add another offensive Pro Bowler in Julio Jones?

How he fits

Jones, a future Hall of Famer, put together ten dominant seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. With 12,896 yards and 60 touchdowns while in Atlanta, he is perhaps the best player in the history of the franchise. However, after an injury-riddled 2020, he was traded to the Tennessee Titans for a second and fourth-round pick.

While there, the struggles continued. Not a perfect fit for what they did on offense, he battled more injuries to the tune of career worsts across the board. After just 434 receiving yards and one touchdown in ten games. Looking to go in another direction, the Titans released him during the 2002 off-season.

While the stat line was hardly impressive at the end of 2021, missed time played a big role. In fact, if he had played a full seventeen-game season, he was on pace for over 700 yards receiving. Regardless, he is clearly not the same player he was in his prime. This should not deter the Raiders, however.
