The Raiders have been at the center of the NFL world following the Davante Adams trade. However, business goes on, with or without draft picks.
Going into March’s midpoint, mock drafts across the league and media outlets had the Raiders drafting a wide receiver or possibly an offensive tackle with the 22nd choice. Following the acquisition of Adams, team brass doesn’t have to worry about making that decision as they forked over both this year’s first and second-round draft choices.
However, the draft isn’t going anywhere, and it shouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that the Silver and Black make a trade to move back into the second round. For now, the Raiders don’t have a pick until the 86th overall selection in the third round.
Even with all of the additions the Raiders have made, bringing in elite players on both sides of the ball, there is still work to be done. Las Vegas has a bunch of cap space remaining, so more big-name free agents could be coming, but for now, we turn our focus to the 2022 NFL Draft.
With that being said, let’s take a look at a plausible scenario this April.
