Much of Raider Nation might groan at picking up a tight end. However, this current coaching staff might want to mold their own behind Darren Waller. Cole Turner from Nevada is an interesting prospect that could end up helping the Raiders’ red zone woes.

Turner possesses excellent hands and is a solid athlete with plenty of upside, especially considering he’d be a seventh-round choice. The Raiders could make use of Turner’s straight-line speed and physical style of play to deploy him in multiple tight end sets.

Using his height, Turner can combine that with his natural toughness to make those tough contested catches in the end zone and could possibly thrive under Josh McDaniels, who is known for using multiple tight ends. Again, considering this is a seventh-round choice, there would be plenty of upside here.
