The Las Vegas Raiders have done a great job building up their roster this offseason, making them a potential Super Bowl contender.

The 2022 offseason is still ongoing, but there are still plenty of reasons to be excited for the season ahead. After all, the Las Vegas Raiders made the playoffs and went toe-to-toe with Super Bowl contenders, the Cincinnati Bengals. With the progress made so far this offseason, it doesn’t seem like too much of a reach to say the Raiders could make the Super Bowl in 2022.

Competent Coaches and Staff

One of the biggest upgrades the Las Vegas Raiders made this offseason was in the coach’s room and the front office. The combination of Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler at head coach and GM seems to be a strong one thus far. The duo has a connection that dates back to their college days at John Carroll University in Ohio, where the two both played wide receiver.

Of course, the pair also worked together in New England, where they helped the Patriots bring home a few Super Bowls. Now in Vegas, it seems like the two have unmatchable chemistry. And it seems like the type of chemistry where they can disagree, yet still, find a solution. It feels like the two will work together on everything rather than Gruden having more of a say than Mayock.

So far, we’ve seen McDaniels and Ziegler make more moves than other of the former Raider regimes have. The two have been able to pull off some great trades and seem to be picking up the right pieces in free agency. If McDaniels can make this teamwork when the season begins, which I think he can, then this team will find itself in not just the playoffs, but the Super Bowl. (Also, it’s worth mentioning that the addition of Patrick Graham will play a major role in a potential Super Bowl run in 2022.
