Raiders: 3 position groups Las Vegas still needs to address

Right Tackle

This is probably the biggest hole left on the Las Vegas roster. Originally, the old coaching regime thought Alex Leatherwood would be the answer at right tackle. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out that way, and Leatherwood was shifted to guard. Now, Las Vegas needs to find a solution at right tackle, so they open lanes for Josh Jacobs and protect Derek Carr.

There are still some options left in free agency, like Bryan Bulaga, Daryl Williams, and Marcus Cannon. Cannon specifically may be an option for Vegas, as he is a former Patriot that’s familiar with McDaniels’ system. If the Raiders decide not to sign any of these free agents, then maybe there is someone they would like to take at pick 86.

They could even trade up to get someone in the second round if they so desire.

Now, there is some theories swirling around on Twitter that the Raiders have already found their right tackle, with it being either Jermaine Eluemenor or Brandon Parker. Both have had work as the starting right tackle, with parker functioning as the Las Vegas starter last year and Eluemenor taking starting snaps for the Patriots in 2020.

If Las Vegas doesn’t get another right tackle, then look for a position battle between those two in training camp.
