Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: 3 OL who could make an immediate impact

Ed Ingram, LSU

LSU’s Ed Ingram is the most reasonable selection, assuming he’s there when the Raiders pick at 86. Ingram has excelled at both guard spots and has the athleticism to make scouts believe he can serve as a tackle, too. Being Las Vegas is still unsure about the future of Leatherwood’s positioning on the offensive line, Ingram’s versatility is only music to the Raiders’ ears, much like Robinson.

The 6’3 guard does well in pass protection and is easily able to make his way to the second level in the run game. His great footwork makes him an asset in any call, and the quick first step he possesses helps prevent him from getting beat on the snap.

Ingram sat out in 2018, but rejoined the team the following year, helping lead LSU to a national championship. In his final year, he was a key factor in the school setting a new single-game rushing yardage total; 287 yards from Davis-Price.

If Las Vegas wants Ingram, the third-round is the time to grab him. At this moment in time, the offensive line is the clear weakest unit for the Raiders, and as such it’s hard to imagine it won’t be prioritized early on.

Still, there’s always the chance Ingram won’t be there, or the chance Las Vegas bundles their third-round pick to trade up in the draft. This leads us to the third option.
