Raiders: Could Ndamukong Suh be a fit in free agency?

Moves the Raiders have made at DT

So far, the Raiders have added a few pieces to their defensive tackle rotation. The first is former Chicago Bear, Bilal Nichols. With solid potential as a pass rusher, Nichols fills a role initially on the Raiders’ defense.

As mentioned, Butler is likely to fill the role of Hankins next season. Kyle Peko was recently added to the roster too but is likely to play a reserve role.

As of now, the Raiders starters would likely be Nichols and Butler. While both players have a high upside, it is not enough for a team that is looking to contend in 2022. Luckily for Las Vegas, there are still some options left for them to explore.

Being tough upfront is crucial in Patrick Graham’s system, and there is one free agent who has had more than some success at the NFL level. If the Raiders still feel they need to upgrade in the middle of their defensive line, why not go after one of the best players at the position in recent memory?
