Raiders: Could Ndamukong Suh be a fit in free agency?

Ndamukong Suh is the perfect fit

Still on the market is one of the biggest names of the NFL’s last generation, Ndamukong Suh. Recently a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he has previously played for the Lions, Dolphins, and Rams in his career.

During that time, he has been named an All-Pro three times, a Pro Bowler five times, and has earned a Super Bowl championship ring in his time with the Buccanneers.

At 35 years old, his best days are very likely behind him. However, he is still a model of consistency. In fact, he has missed just two games in his NFL career and has started every game he has played. He has also put up solid sack numbers over the last two seasons with six sacks in both 2020 and 2021.

While he is not the superstar he once was, he would still be a starter for the Las Vegas defense. Still a physical force, he offers value as both a run stopper and a pass rusher.

At the very least, he would be a consistently available member of the Raiders’ defense as he hasn’t missed a game since 2011. Likely to be inexpensive at this point of his career, the Raiders would be wise to look into Suh this off-season.
