The Raiders franchise has had its fair share of moves that the fans wish were April Fools’ Jokes over the past four years. We look at three here.

Today is April Fools’ Day, and that means there are going to be a lot of fake stories all over social media. For Raiders fans, these three moves since 2018 would be better off as jokes.

Raiders trade away Khalil Mack

When Jon Gruden was hired back as head coach, one of the first things he spoke about was getting a deal done with Khalil Mack. Well, he got a deal done, as he traded away the future Hall of Famer to the Chicago Bears for a host of draft picks, and it was really only Josh Jacobs who panned out.

Damon Arnette was one of the selections with the Mack picks from the Bears, and he had a terrible stint with the franchise, while Bryan Edwards has yet to reach his full potential. Sure, Jacobs is a solid back and has been a Pro Bowl player, but he has not done for the franchise what Mack could have done had he been in a lineup that included Maxx Crosby.
