Most of their first-round picks
Looking back at the first-round picks the Raiders have had since 2018, they should have done so much more with the draft capital. The Silver and Black held three first-round picks in 2019, two more in 2020, and for the most part, they whiffed on nearly all five of those draft picks.
Sure, the Raiders did a nice job after the first round with Mike Mayock as the general manager, getting players like Maxx Crosby and Hunter Renfrow, but the first-round misses ended up being his undoing in Las Vegas. In 2018, Kolton Miller was the first-round pick, and he has worked out, but in 2019 saw them take Clelin Ferrell at No. 4 overall, and possibly miss again on Johnathan Abram.
5 Raiders who desperately need to develop in the 2022 offseason
The Las Vegas Raiders hope to get back to the playoffs next season, but these five key players will need to develop more this offseason to do so.
The Silver and Black could not have done worse with their two first-round picks in 2020, as Henry Ruggs III and Damon Arnette are no longer with the team, and likely have seen their careers come to an end due to off-field stuff. In 2021, Alex Leatherwood was the pick in Round 1, and he had a terrible first season, so overall, how about we get a do-over on nearly every first-round pick since 2018?
