Las Vegas Raiders: 3 areas of concern as the 2022 calendar turns to April
Linebacker help
One of the key areas on this team that needed to be rebuilt this offseason was the linebacker corps, and the Raiders have done a nice job bringing in two solid players in free agency. Micah Kiser and Jayon Brown will be expected to come in and contribute, especially with Nicholas Morrow gone, but help is still needed.
Two of the big free agent signings from a few years back were linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and Cory Littleton, and both did not live up to their contracts. As a rookie in 2021, Divine Deablo showed that he has what it takes to be a possible star in this league, and the expectation is that he starts in Year 2.
Kyler Fackrell is another solid veteran that the team brought in, and Denzel Perryman is back, but there are really only two legitimate starters on this roster right now. A third linebacker who is a difference-maker will be needed moving forward.
