Raiders 2022 7-Round Mock Draft: Plenty of holes need to be addressed
Raiders mock draft: Round 7, Pick 227 – Jean Delance, OT, Florida
It would certainly behoove the Raiders to add another tackle prospect this year. A seventh-round pick-up with upside considering it’s the last round would be Florida’s Jean Delance. The Raiders’ right tackle slot has been the subject of endless debate. Either Alex Leatherwood will get another shot, or we’ll likely see a platoon made up of Brandon Parker, Jermaine Eluemunor, and another prospect man the spot.
Delance would be a developmental piece within the offensive line. He shouldn’t see too many snaps as a rookie, but he has the natural foundation set at six-foot-five and 300 pounds.
He also possesses impressive and powerful 36-inch arms, which allowed him to be a competitive run blocker, helping Florida have one of the top rushing offenses in the SEC last season. His athletic ability will be of use as he’ll likely flourish in run-blocking. Considering this would be a seventh-round pick, the Raiders could walk away with an intriguing prospect.
