Raiders Day 2 prospect watch: Dylan Parham, OG, Memphis

Another guard prospect with run-blocking prowess, Dylan Parham of Memphis, could end up being a possibility in the third round for the Raiders. The six-foot-three, 311-pound lineman had a solid appearance at the combine, recording a 4.93 time in his 40-yard dash. In addition, he recorded a 26.5-inch vertical jump along with a 108-inch broad jump to boot.

Though his size is a concern, Parham makes up for it with his athletic ability, which is highlighted by his movement and positional technique. He’s consistently won at the point of attack, helping to open up initial holes for his running backs in college.

You can expect the same from him in the NFL. He has sufficient mobility and adequate lower body strength to get beneath incoming rushers.

His aforementioned technique is a quality that will intrigue the Raiders. He makes the most of his length and hips to control defenders; maintaining his balance from start to finish.
