The Las Vegas Raiders’ defense needs more reinforcements after making solid additions during NFL free agency.

The Raiders made several enhancements to their defense this offseason with new defensive coordinator Patrick Graham taking over for Gus Bradley who is now with the Indianapolis Colts. The change in philosophy and scheme also meant that the roster would be reshaped.

The Silver and Black signed Chandler Jones, arguably the best defensive free agent available. In addition, the team also landed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin to help boost a secondary that moved on from Casey Hayward.

Many of the defensive players that the Raiders moved on from were not going to fit with Graham’s unit. This month’s NFL Draft will provide a good opportunity to replenish many key positions within the defense, including the secondary and the defensive line’s interior.

Even though the Raiders don’t hold a pick until the third round, there’s ample probability that the team can still draft solid contributors. Let’s take a look at a possible mock scenario.
