Ranking every starting quarterback in the NFL after 2022 Free Agency

Ryan Tannehill got his first taste of a Todd Downing offense in 2021. The result? An average season that was a regression from 2020. When he wasn’t turning and handing the ball off to Derek Henry, Tannehill racked up 3,734 yards, 21 touchdowns, and fourteen interceptions. He led his Tennessee Titans to a 12-5 record that was good enough to win the AFC South.

Despite playing with one of the worst offensive coordinators in football, Tannehill proved he is a good quarterback by simply keeping his offense afloat. This was not always an easy task as all of Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, and A.J. Brown missed time in 2021.

Regardless, despite entering the playoffs with the AFC’s number one seed, Ryan Tannehill and the Titans lost in the first round. Unfortunately, this is becoming a theme for “17” in his career as he has just never won the big games. Even worse, his performance in the teams’ lone playoff game was dreadful as he tossed three interceptions.

Tannehill will be back again in 2022 and, with an offense that promises to be explosive once again, will look to finally get over the hump.
