Ranking every starting quarterback in the NFL after 2022 Free Agency

. Drew Lock. 36. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB . 30

After being selected in the second round by the Broncos in 2019, Drew Lock was traded to the Seahawks as part of the Russell Wilson trade. While Seattle is likely to add a passer in the draft, Lock is the clear starter right now. In his three-year career, he has 4,740 yards passing and 25 touchdowns to go along with twenty interceptions.

For the most part, Lock was replaced by Teddy Bridgewater in 2021. Playing in six games last season, he started just three of them. With two touchdowns and two interceptions he once again was not a difference-maker for the Broncos. In fact, he may have been detrimental as the team was 0-3 in games he started.

Truthfully, the only reason Lock is above both Trubisky and Mariota is because he has played more in recent years. Regardless, he is not a good quarterback despite the Seahawks apparently seeing something in him. In Seattle, he will have the luxury of throwing to some talented receivers in DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, and Noah Fant. Highly unlikely to be the long-term option for the Seahawks he is a stop-gap.
