Ranking every starting quarterback in the NFL after 2022 Free Agency

. Daniel Jones. 27. player. 31. Pick Analysis. QB. Scouting Report

Affectionately nicknamed “Danny Dimes”, Jones took some steps forward last season after a poor campaign in 2020. Although the team was not successful, 4-7 under his watch, he is the Giants’ franchise quarterback currently. Drafted in the first round in 2019, the Giants will be hoping for more from him in 2022.

The story with Jones’s career thus far has been the turnovers. In 37 NFL games, Jones has committed a whopping 49 turnovers. Of course, this is just not winning football. So, while he does throw a nice deep ball and has the mental aptitude to be a starting quarterback, he must stop throwing away possessions.

Fortunately for Jones, he will be put in a great position to succeed in 2022. With weapons that consist of Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney, and Saquon Barkley, Jones will have no shortage of talent to supply the ball too. Most importantly, he gets a new head coach in the form of Brian Daboll. Credited with much of Josh Allen’s development in Buffalo, the Giants are counting on him to have a similar effect on Jones.
