The Las Vegas Raiders finally came to an agreement on an extension for Derek Carr, and here is who will benefit the most from the deal.

At long last, the Las Vegas Raiders have come to an agreement with Derek Carr on a contract extension. The deal is for three years at $121.5 million which includes a no-trade clause according to reports from people way more connected than myself.

For Carr, this extension was a long time coming, and it shows that the franchise is all-in on him being their signal-caller for the foreseeable future. The deal is both a player and team-friendly pact, and after the Silver and Black spent so much money building around him this offseason, Carr was finally able to get some contract security himself.

During his time as the starter for the Raiders, Carr has had his fair share of ups and downs, and an incredible number of different head coaches and offensive coordinators. With Josh McDaniels inking a long-term deal as the new head coach, maybe he can get some stability, and finally turn this franchise into a contender.

The focus now shifts to four key components of Raiders football and how this extension affects them.
