Returning Raiders that must improve for the team to flourish in 2022
By Nick Bailey
The Las Vegas Raiders have brought in a bunch of new talent this offseason, but these returning guys must improve for the team to succeed in 2022.
This offseason in the NFL has been the craziest in terms of player movement, and the Las Vegas Raiders have been a big part of that. I can’t even count the number of Pro Bowlers and All-Pro players that will be dressing up in a different uniform next season.
The Raiders were one of the teams to make a couple of splashes this offseason not only signing four-time Pro Bowl and two-time All-Pro defensive end/outside linebacker Chandler Jones, but they went and traded for arguably the best wide receiver in the league in Davante Adams.
Adams just happens to be one of Derek Carr’s best friends, and that was a huge deal, but they have also made some under-the-radar moves like trading Yannick Ngakoue for Rock Ya-Sin, a starting-caliber cornerback, signing defensive tackle Bilal Nichols away from the Chicago Bears, and so on.
But despite making all these splashy moves to bring in new talent, returning players must step up, and these four need to improve if the Raiders are to accomplish their goals in 2022.
