Raiders mock draft – Pick No. 165 – Andrew Stueber, OT, Michigan
With their second choice in the second round, the Raiders selected an offensive tackle and, more notably, a Jim Harbaugh-coached prospect in Michigan’s Andrew Stueber with the 165th tackle.
The Raiders still need quality depth at the tackle positions and Stueber would provide that. The former Wolverine plays with a mean streak and an aggressive demeanor that will serve him well in the NFL. Physically speaking, Stueber is sound. He plays with notable feet and movement for someone his size, and he has the necessary strength to hold his own against the bull rush. Stueber also has some speed to his game; he can get to a defense’s second level with ease as he explodes out of his stance.
His on-field awareness is second to none and will help him transition to the pros as he develops as a second-stringer at first.
