3 Big moves the Las Vegas Raiders can still make

Add another wide receiver

Currently, the Raiders have two of the NFL’s best receivers. In fact, after the recent trade for Davante Adams, they may just have the league’s best wideout. With All-Pro nods in each of the last two seasons, it would be hard to argue otherwise. Returning once again is Hunter Renfrow. One of the league’s best slot receivers, he was Carr’s favorite target in 2021 en route to his first 1,000-yard season.

However, after those two stars, the drop-off is steep. In line to be the other outside receiver across from Adams is former third-round pick, Bryan Edwards. Going into his third NFL season, Edwards has been hurt often and ineffective while on the field. They also added both Demarcus Robinson and Mack Hollins this off-season but both figure to be depth pieces.

Available currently are two Hall of Fame-caliber talents. The first is Julio Jones who spent 2021 with the Titans. While he has certainly lost a step from his days in Atlanta, he could thrive in Las Vegas where he would rarely be more than the fourth option. The next is newly crowned Super Bowl champion, Odell Beckham Jr.

Once considered to be “washed up” in Cleveland, “OBJ” had a renaissance of sorts in Los Angeles where he proved just how dominant he can be.

Veterans such as Jarvis Landry, Will Fuller, and Emmanuel Sanders are available as well. All of these players, while not elite, could benefit from a large amount of talent already present on the Vegas offense and give the Raiders great value in the passing game.
