The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the elite tight ends in the NFL in Darren Waller, but could the franchise really send him away in a trade?

With the NFL Draft quickly approaching, the Raiders do not pick until the third round. One way Las Vegas could move up in the draft is by dealing a star such as tight end, Darren Waller.

In November of 2018, the Raiders added a little-known tight end off of the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Of course, this would be Darren Waller. Absurdly athletic at 6’6″ and 256 pounds Waller looked the part of a match-up nightmare.

Regardless, he was forced to sit behind the incumbent starter, Jared Cook.

However, Waller transformed himself for the 2019 season. Named the starting tight end in the off-season, he responded with a dominant season. After 90 receptions for 1,145 yards, Waller had officially put the league on notice. The Raiders were also impressed enough to give him a new three-year contract extension.
