Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: Offense or Defense at pick No. 86

Verdict

As tempting as it may sound to get a defensive player with their first pick in the draft. They will have to wait later in the draft to get defensive players. The Raiders have got to repair their offensive line first.

If their offense can’t go, then they will not win many games. Whichever road they decide to go down, they must be certain they want to go down that road. In addition, the Raiders must evaluate the prospects carefully and avoid previous draft mistakes and disappointments.

What we do know is that there are players on each side of the ball that could come in and start right away on this roster, especially up front along the offensive line. That is where the Silver and Black will get the most bang for their buck, and that is where they should look to start their 2022 NFL Draft journey.
