Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: Who are the top players at each position?

  5. Breece Hall (Iowa State)

Always the most maligned position group in the draft, running backs may be less valued now than they were at any point in NFL history. This is not to say that the position group lacks talent. In fact, it is, quite the opposite as football simply has too many good players at the position that it becomes hard to justify using a high selection on one.

However, if I were to be selecting a running back high in the 2022 NFL Draft, Kenneth Walker would be my pick. Playing with an unmatched energy that allows him to break tackles with ease and compete in all facets, he is also supremely physical for his size and quite fast. He will be an instant boost to any backfield in the league.

My sleeper pick at the position is Arizona State’s Rachaad White. Similar to Walker, his running style appears so effortless as he glides his way across the field. He also has a variety of moves at his disposal while also proving to be valuable on check-downs with reliable hands. Currently, I see White as one of the top running backs in this class and would be more than comfortable electing him on day two.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a ton of talent at the running back position going into this draft, so if they are going to be in the market for one, it will likely come much later on Day 3.
