Another year, another stacked wide receiver class enters the NFL. While this one may not be as top-heavy as last year’s which featured Jaylen Waddle, Devinta Smith, and Ja’Marr Chase, it may have more depth. Once again, two Alabama receivers will be available while Ohio State continues to add talent at the position as well.

Since injuries are not being taken into account here, Jameson Williams is WR1. A track star on the field, Williams has blazing speed that allows him to torch defenses with ease. Making things more difficult for the defense, is the robust route tree he ran while in Tuscaloosa. Running many of the typical “fast guy” routes like go’s, overs, and posts he is exceptionally deadly on double moves where the suddenness of his route running really shines.

Of course, receivers like Wilson, Olave, and Burks are poised to be great receivers as well. All possessing elite traits, they will be impact additions where ever they go on Thursday. Later in the draft players such as Pickens and Watson have a super high upside for a team that is looking for more of a luxury pick or is willing to wait for them to hit their full potential.

Wide receiver has been a position that has dominated the headlines for the Raiders this offseason, as they swung a trade for Davante Adams, giving up their first and second-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Raiders are pretty solid on the outside, but I would not be surprised if they targeted a wideout on Day 3.
