Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: Who are the top players at each position?

Offensive Tackles

  1. Charles Cross (Missippi State)
  2. Ikem Ekwonu (N.C. State)
  3. Evan Neal (Alabama)
  4. Nicholas Petit-Frere (Ohio State)
  5. Daniel Faalele (Minnesota)
  6. Bernhard Raimann (Central Michigan)
  7. Tyler Smith (Tulsa)
  8. Abraham Lucas (Washington State)
  9. Rasheed Walker (Penn State)
  10. Trevor Penning (Northern Iowa)

Interior Offensive Line

  1. Zion Johnson (Boston College)
  2. Tyler Linderbaum (Iowa)
  3. Kenyon Green (Texas A&M)
  4. Jamaree Salyer (Georgia)
  5. Darian Kinnard (Kentucky)
  6. Sean Rhyan (UCLA)
  7. Dohnovan West (Arizona State)
  8. Lecitus Smith (Virginia Tech)
  9. Spencer Burford (UTSA)
  10. Thayer Munford (Ohio State)
  11. Alec Lindstrom (Boston College)

We all need to go ahead and appreciate Charles Cross a little bit more. My number one player in the entire class, he reminds me so much of Larmey Tunsil when he came out a few years ago, Effortless as a pass blocker and I believe the run blocking deficiencies are a bit overblown. I can’t see a world where he is not an elite offensive tackle for a long time in the NFL.

The same goes for both Ekwonu and Neal. Absurdly talented in their own right, they both deserve to be top ten selections.

On the interior, there is a clear top three. All of Johnson, Green, and Linderbaum appear ready to be contributors from day one in the NFL. However, due to the nature of the position, it is entirely possible that none of those players get selected in round one.

This is a draft year where the Raiders need to be aggressive along the offensive line, and they could be in the market for a tackle, and guard when all is said and done. The Raiders should have an explosive offense in 2022, but it will really depend on what they do upfront.
