2022 NFL Draft: Realistic picks at 86 where Raiders come out on top

Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State

If McDaniels is content with Leatherwood at guard but Ingram isn’t the selection for whatever reason, Abraham Lucas is another big step in beefing up the offensive line.

The team gave Brandon Parker $3.5M this off-season, largely due to his ability to be a swing tackle. Like Parker, Lucas also possesses swing tackle ability.

For the most part, Lucas is a raw talent but possesses a favorable length and frame. His lateral mobility is a highlight too, helping him receive the honor of being named an AP first-team All-Pac 12 in ’20.

Although Lucas is a raw talent, he can still step in and be a day-one starter, especially at right tackle. Truthfully, the Washington State offensive lineman is on the unlikely side of sliding to 86, but it’s still something that could realistically happen. If it does, the Raiders can walk away with a great pick that instantly improves the team.
