The Las Vegas Raiders won’t be on the clock until pick no.86, but there’s still time to predict who might be available when the team finds themselves on the clock.
The first round of the 2022 NFL draft came and went last night, ending without any selections from the Las Vegas Raiders as a result of the Davante Adams trade. General manager Dave Ziegler had been open-minded in regards to a trade-up, but given the lack of assets the team is willing to part with, the back-half of the second round is the most likely window such a trade would develop.
For the Raiders, it’s also a matter of finding a team actively looking to trade down with them – Something that didn’t happen last night, as Ziegler stated the only time the phone rang was when the NFL buzzed to confirm they have Las Vegas’ pick number correct.
Considering the depth of this draft, it’s fair to assume Las Vegas stays right where they are, still ensuring a quality selection at 86 without coughing up additional assets. As such, I’m going to assume the team does just that and give my personal top-five realistic picks once the 86th selection comes around.
From the glaringly obvious, being the offensive line unit, to a few positions the Silver and Black could use shortly, let’s dive into this.
