Bold Prediction No. 1 – Raiders will draft more than one offensive lineman

Yes, plural, as in at least two offensive linemen. The Raiders are bringing back last year’s unit as they put an emphasis on competition during this upcoming training camp. However, the o-line’s depth is still a major concern. Even though the team is banking on Alex Leatherwood having a great Year 2, there’ll be plenty of right tackle prospects to be had today and tomorrow.

The interior of the offensive line is thin as far as quality depth, not to mention that Denzelle Good will be coming off an injury. Protecting Derek Carr should still be the team’s number one priority, so taking advantage of how deep the offensive line class is this year should be crucial for Ziegler and Co.

Let’s keep an eye on Kellen Diesch, Abraham Lucas, and Sean Rhyan in particular. Both Diesch and Lucas carry tons of upside and are physically gifted with ample size and are already competent in pass protection. Rhyan can become a swing offensive lineman who’s a savvy run blocker out of UCLA.
