Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: 3 best-case scenario picks on Day 2

Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati

We start out on the defensive side of the ball, as the Las Vegas Raiders did a great job stacking talent on all three levels this offseason. They brought in Jones to bolster the pass rush, and added quality veteran talent at the linebacker spot, while also bolstering the defensive backfield.

However, while they have bolstered the secondary, they still need help at both safety and cornerback, and there could be a great one waiting for them at pick No. 86. While Sauce Gardner got a ton of the hype heading into the 2022 NFL Draft, and rightfully so, his teammate, Coby Bryant, won the Jim Thorpe Award this past season.

In this Raiders defense, Bryant would be a best-case scenario and is someone who could come in and fight for a starting job right out of the gate. Las Vegas has yet to get consistent play from Trayvon Mullen, who has struggled to stay healthy throughout his NFL career, and by adding a player of Bryant’s caliber to the fold, it could cause some serious competition.
