Raiders 2022 NFL Draft: 5 athletic gems to find on Day 3

Darrian Beavers (RAS Score: 9.60)

Consensus RK #111

In this draft class, Cincinnati’s Darrian Beavers seems like the type of player that the new front office and coaching staff will like.

A “Jack of all trades, master of none” prospect, Beavers provides the versatility that the Raiders will covet. And when you combine it with his athletic testing, he could be a serious steal in the middle of the draft.

Beavers scored a 9.6 RAS, which is right around players like Devin Lloyd and Quay Walker, who are projected to go much higher in the draft. So he has good athleticism at 232lbs with a massive wingspan (97th percentile) and high football IQ from everything you read. Not exactly sure how someone with those traits could be so lowly regarded by I’m no scout.

But, if the Beavers is available in the 4th round, he could be an excellent addition to the middle of the defense.
