Las Vegas Raiders 2022 Draft grades: The Best and the Worst

Round 4, Pick 122, Zamir White, RB, Georgia

The Raiders made a good pick with “Zeus.” White, who stands 6’0 and weighs in at 214 pounds and ran a 4.4 40 time, is a physical, powerful runner and has been labeled a “weight room warrior.” He was too good to pass up.

Although a running back was not one of their biggest draft needs, it makes sense. Yes, the Raiders have a loaded backfield with Josh Jacobs, Kenyon Drake, and Ameer Abdullah. However, it is possible the trio will not be there after next year with them with all of them set to be free agents after this season.

White should be able to compete for reps early on. Just in case all three of those running backs decide to leave next year during free agency, White will have one year in this offense under his belt so the Raiders won’t have to rely on a rookie.

The only thing which kept him from getting a higher grade is his injury history. He has already torn both ACLs in his career at Georgia. With his running style, fans might be holding their breath if he gets hit low.

Grade: B-
