3 needs that Las Vegas Raiders must address following NFL Draft

No. 3 – Linebacker

The Raiders’ linebacker group will look different than what fans are accustomed to from years past. Patrick Graham’s defense will likely rely on two linebackers to make his scheme work. Look for Divine Deablo and 2021 Pro Bowler Denzel Perryman to carry the load, but the depth behind them at the moment lacks experience.

As it stands, all eyes will be on Perryman this season with some doubting his coverage abilities, which will be key in Graham’s defense.

The Raiders did sign Darien Butler and Luke Masterson, but the team lacks experienced depth. Perhaps adding Jamie Collins, or bringing back K.J. Wright could be an option after June 1st. We’ll have to wait and see how this need is addressed in the coming weeks. If no other meaningful additions are made, the Raiders will be banking on Deablo to become a viable starter after showing notable glimpses last year.
