The Las Vegas Raiders brought in five players via the 2022 NFL Draft, and here, we lay out some bold predictions for them in Year 1.

After parting with their first and second-round selections to acquire Davante Adams from Green Bay, the Raiders waited until the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft to make their first selection in their hometown of Las Vegas. If there was any sense of disappointment from Raider Nation with the Raiders waiting so long to make their first pick, it was likely washed away when the Packers came on the clock at pick twenty-two, with all of the top wide receivers and offensive lineman already off the board.

This only solidified a masterful move from Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels to acquire the league’s top WR.

Despite their long wait, though, the Raiders were able to come away with a very solid class of rookies, heaping praise from many draft analysts for their high-value selections. After trading down to pick 90, the Raiders made G/C Dylan Parham from Memphis their highest pick of the 2022 Draft.

After Parham, Las Vegas added help up front defensively, selecting two defensive tackles back-to-back, and traded up for Georgia running back Zamir “Zeus” White. The new Raiders’ regime finished out their picks with Thayer Munford Jr. from Ohio State and another RB in Brittain Brown from UCLA.

Considering the lack of high-profile selections at the Silver and Black’s disposal this year, there is not much expectation for the rookies in the upcoming season. This doesn’t mean, however, that there won’t be unexpected impacts made by the new Raiders’ rookie class.

With six shiny new rookies added to the Raiders’ roster, there are bound to be a few surprises during the inaugural season for the class. With that being said, let’s take a look at a few bold predictions for the Las Vegas Raiders 2022 rookie class.
