Raiders free agent target – Quinton Spain, OL

2021 Key Stats

  • 76.1 PFF Run Blocking Grade
  • 4 Total Penalties

Quinton Spain could come in and compete for snaps at left guard behind Denzelle Good and would bring with him run-blocking prowess. He was key in the Cincinnati Bengals’ playoff run that resulted in a Super Bowl appearance. An important facet of the Bengals’ offense in 2021 was their run game, which totaled 1,742 rushing yards.

Spain was often opening up holes and consistently getting into the defense’s second level, leading the way for Joe Mixon.

Considering how McDaniels will likely carry out his offense, having an anchor at the level of Spain could be a monstrous upgrade over last season for the Raiders. If the money is right and the Bengals, for whatever reason, do re-sign him, Las Vegas needs to pounce.
