Raiders free agent target – James Bradberry, DB

Key 2021 Stats

  • 17 Pass Deflections
  • 4 Interceptions
  • 2 Fumble Recoveries
  • 61.7% Completion Percentage Allowed

Ah yes, James Bradberry. He’s probably one of the most sought-after players following the draft. With the New York Giants have been unable to secure a deal or trade, he’ll, in all likelihood, be released. The Raiders’ secondary is young and explosive, but the lack of depth at cornerback is a red flag.

Rock Ya-Sin will likely hold down one side, but there are still concerns surrounding Trayvon Mullen.

Bradberry has consistently been one of the better defensive backs in the NFL. A 2020 Pro Bowler, he has 47 pass deflections over the last three years. The 74th ranked player in the NFL’s Top 100 from 2021, Bradberry posted a 79.9 PFF coverage grade in 2020 and, while being exposed at times (he surrendered eight touchdowns in 2021), he’d be a solid addition to the Raiders’ backfield.
