Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster projection post-2022 NFL Draft

Tight End (2): Darren Waller, Foster Moreau

Looking at the Raiders tight end position, there are only two players who I can see legitimately making the 53-man roster. Now, that could change, as there are some free agents out there the Raiders could bring in, but for now, it is just Darren Waller and Foster Moreau.

The problem is, Waller and Moreau have both dealt with injury issues in the past, so the Raiders have to bring in a third tight end to start the regular season. They do have Nick Bowers and Jacob Hollister on the roster, two players who could end up surprising this spring and summer, but I would expect McDaniels and Ziegler to be active in bringing in another body.

When it comes to Waller and Moreau, they are also a top tandem in the NFL, and I believe Waller emerges as the No. 1 tight end in the NFL this season. With so much talent around him, Waller will find it easy to get open, and in space, he is a matchup nightmare for any linebacker or defensive back.

Total Roster Number: 15
