Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster projection post-2022 NFL Draft

Linebacker (7): Jayon Brown, Denzel Perryman, Chandler Jones, Divine Deablo, Micah Kiser, Kyler Fackrell, Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa

With the Las Vegas Raiders moving to a 3-4 base defense, there is a real need to have talent and depth at the linebacker position. This was a group that needed to be revamped this offseason, and I believe that Ziegler and McDaniels did a tremendous job injecting not only depth but talent.

Chandler Jones is the big name here, as he will play outside linebacker, and is a former All-Pro player. He will join a group that was led by Denzel Perryman last season, a player who proved to be a monster pickup for the Raiders, leading them in tackles and becoming a leader on and off the field.

Veterans like Micah Kiser and Kyler Fackrell will be huge if this group is going to excel, and you have to be excited about what Divine Deablo could bring to the table in Year 2. My big surprise in this group is Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa, a defensive end with Notre Dame who could move to linebacker at the next level, giving Las Vegas another option coming off the edge.

Total Roster Number: 40
