Las Vegas Raiders: 53-man roster projection post-2022 NFL Draft

Defensive Line (9): Maxx Crosby, Bilal Nichols, Johnathan Hankins, Kendal Vickers, Neil Farrell Jr., Matthew Butler, Clelin Ferrell, Malcolm Koonce, Andrew Billings

When it comes to the Raiders defensive line, we will see a new look up front, as new defensive coordinator Patrick Graham likes to go with a 3-4 defense. That means they needed to go out and bolster the defensive tackle spot, and they certainly did that by bringing in a host of veterans, and draft picks.

Maxx Crosby enters his fourth season with the Silver and Black, and he has blossomed into one of the best defensive ends in the NFL. He was an absolute steal on Day 3 and will lead a group that will be expected to get consistent pressure, especially in an AFC West that is absolutely loaded at the quarterback spot.

Draft picks Matthew Butler and Neil Farrell Jr. will be expected to compete as rookies, but the real question mark surrounds former No. 4 overall pick, Clelin Ferrell. Can he surprise in a new system? Or will he retain his status as someone who should have never been picked so high? We will see how it all shakes out, but as a group, the Raiders are big, athletic, and deep up front on defense.

Total Roster Number: 33
