Raiders fans and NFL fans alike can rejoice in knowing that the official 2022 NFL schedule has officially been released, but what is their toughest stretch?

No more rumors and speculation, the schedule for the Las Vegas Raiders is now on display, and to be honest; it is not one of ease.

The Raiders first five games of the 2021 season were rather daunting, even though the Raider started the season 3-0 for the first time since 2002, before dropping the next two contests.

Now looking at the 2022 schedule, it seems the first five games of the Raiders season before they hit the Week 6 bye is one of even more difficulty.

Of the five teams the Raiders face to begin the 2022 season, they combined for a record of 51-34 last season. And the only team that was below .500 last season got significantly better in the Denver Broncos, as they added 9x Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson via trade this offseason.

The toughest stretch would definitely suggest the beginning of the season for the Raiders, and hopefully this harrowing task of teams in front of the Silver and Black will not doom their season.

In the 2022 season, the Raiders upgraded heavily on the offensive and defensive front (look at stars Davante Adams and Chandler Jones as a reference here), and although the franchise made the playoffs for the first time since 2016, it looks as though this bunch will have much loftier expectations for this season.
