Raiders Second-Half Games
Week 12- @ Seattle Seahawks
On paper, this is not a very intriguing matchup at all, the Seahawks appear to be a team in a rebuild, and the Raiders should beat them if they are healthy. Unfortunately, this has been the portion of the schedule where the Raiders find a way to lose games they simply shouldn’t.
Last season, it was a week 13 loss to the Washington Commanders; in 2020, it was a week 12 beatdown from the Falcons. And in 2019, it was a no-show against the Jets.
So, this is the danger zone, and hopefully, with a new coaching staff, they will eliminate that lack of focus that seems to creep up this time of the year.
Until that is proven, this is a game that I will have my eye on.
Week 14 – @ Los Angeles Rams
The AFC looks to be the most difficult division in 2022, but in the past few years, one could argue the NFC West had that title. And now they come in this season having produced the reigning Superbowl champion in the Los Angeles Rams.
The Raiders have a brutal six-game stretch to end the season; the Rams will be the second of the six. Matt Stafford and company look poised to make another Superbowl run as they still have all the high-end talent and now have the confidence that comes with finally winning.
Raiders trade away Bryan Edwards, but what does it all mean?
The Raiders agree to terms with the Falcons, shipping receiver Bryan Edwards to Atlanta. How does Las Vegas' receiving core fare without Edwards?
This will be another measuring stick for the Raiders to see if they have what it takes to compete with the best in the league. This will also be another great chance to watch best on best with Davante Adams vs. Jalen Ramsey, which is also worth your time.
