Week 18: vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Kansas City Chiefs at home to end their 2022 regular season, and unfortunately, the Chiefs come away with the regular-season sweep. Las Vegas has a really tough stretch to close out the season, and by this time, they should be in lockstep with the Chiefs for the AFC West title.

By losing in Week 18, the Silver and Black are still able to put together an 11-win season and punch their ticket to the playoffs for the second consecutive season. Las Vegas should be a hard out come playoff time, as they will have gelled as a unit by this point in the season, and are hopefully healthy enough for a Super Bowl run.

The Raiders may be one year away from being a legitimate Super Bowl contender, but they are going to be an exciting team to watch in 2022. The one-game improvement is the first step for the new regime of David Ziegler and Josh McDaniels, a step that could eventually lead to the franchise’s fourth Super Bowl title.

Record: 11-6 overall, 3-3 in AFC West

Result: Raiders clinch a Wild Card berth!
