Week 7: vs Houston Texans

Coming out of the bye week, the Raiders have a pretty easy slate of games, at least, that is what it looks like on paper. They will have an extra week to get ready for the hapless Houston Texans, who should be one of the worst teams in football once again this season.

Houston does have a new head coach in Lovie Smith, and they love second-year quarterback Davis Mills, so they should be improved from last season. However, they are going on the road to take on a Raiders team coming off the bye week, so the Silver and Black should be heavy favorites in this one.

Las Vegas has the talent on both sides of the ball to put this game away early, and hopefully, they are healthy going into this matchup. I like Josh McDaniels to run the ball down the Texans throats with his plethora of running backs, as the Raiders come out of the bye week with a convincing victory in front of the home crowd.

Record: 5-1 overall, 2-1 in AFC West
