AFC West Top 25 Under 25 PFF Player – Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

  • Key 2021 Stat: 38 touchdown passes

The 2021 Pro Bowl MVP that was booed at Allegiant Stadium was also featured on PFF’s list. We’re referring to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.

In his first two years as an NFL signal-caller, Herbert has thrown for an impressive 69 touchdowns with just 25 interceptions. Even more impressive is that Herbert has recorded 9350 passing yards in his young career; he’ll break the 10,000-yard mark within the first few games in 2022.

Herbert has had his fair share of moments already. As PFF noted, he threw an absolute rocket to Jalen Guyton for 67 yards in Week 14 last season. Despite his age, Herbert already shows many of the qualities that you look for in a franchise quarterback, and there is no doubt that the Raiders will have their hands full for at least a decade.
