Ranking the Las Vegas Raiders 2022 rookie class based on impact
No. 3: Neil Farrell Jr.
Farrell, the 6-foot-4 330-pound defensive tackle out of LSU is the perfect fit on paper for Patrick Graham’s defensive strategy, a large-bodied defender who can take on two gaps and allow linebackers to make a play as he holds strong on the line.
It has been noted that Farrell’s quickness off the ball and tenacity has made him a formidable player in the run game. The Raiders must improve against the run and the size and ability of Farrell help bolster the interior line to provide stability in the rush defense. Farrell will have some work to do to perform at the next level as he will need to focus on maintaining his pad level and shedding blocks.
No. 2: Dylan Parham
Dylan Parham, the former high school blocking tight end, converted to guard in college and has excelled at that position while at Memphis. Parham is on the smaller side in terms of offensive lineman frames, standing at 6-foot-3, 311 pounds Parham makes up for his stature in physicality.
Known for being a bully on the field, Parham is a smart player who can easily play either guard or center if needed. His ability to move around the interior of the line allows for flexibility with coaching and putting players in the best position. As the Raiders enter the summer and lead towards camp they would like to solidify the offensive line and have a clear plan as to who will be the day-one starters.
The Raiders’ biggest question mark this season is going to be the offensive line as the strength of the offensive line will dictate the success of the offense.
